Rising Sun Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. This full-time position focuses on providing one-on-one, personalized care to patients in a home care setting. Work Environment

This position is based in Irvine, California, where the therapist will work directly in patients' homes, promoting a comfortable and familiar setting for rehabilitation. Our full-time team members can expect a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday, consisting of 8-hour shifts. Being onsite allows you to form meaningful connections with patients while observing their progression in a real-world context.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive examinations and analysis of medical histories.
• Design individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, ensuring alignment with best practice protocols.
• Execute various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, patient education, and corrective exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to adjust treatment programs as necessary and communicate updates effectively with the clinical team.
• Participate in weekly collaborative meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse population ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly patients facing mobility challenges. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in treating conditions such as joint pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management, emphasizing holistic approaches tailored to enhancing physical function and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy License in the state of California is mandatory.
• Certification in CPR is preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise or certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in outpatient settings, particularly within the home care environment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic conditions is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and foster a collaborative team dynamic.
• A proactive approach to professional development, with a willingness to learn and adopt new therapies and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
