Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients through physical assessments, interviews, and an analysis of medical histories to develop effective individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide hands-on manual therapy and rehabilitation interventions focusing on orthopedic needs.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and ongoing self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Facilitate communication with team members to share observations and coordinate care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to documentation protocols and compliance standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings, offering insights and recommendations for best practices and patient care improvements.
• Stay current with developments in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and specialized training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our practice attracts a varied clientele, enabling you to apply your skills to diverse cases while contributing significantly to each patient's recovery and quality of life. Your holistic approach to care will address not just physical limitations, but also emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree is preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy License in California is mandatory.
• CPR Certification is preferred but not necessary at the time of hire.
• Proven experience and expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation is highly valued, as this is a sought-after specialization within our practice.
• Prior work in a collaborative outpatient environment may be advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Rising Sun Physical Therapy also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
